Another new Excel 220 Bay Pro 22′ 3″ Aluminum Bay Boat heading out to its new home. A 150 HP ProXS Mercury Outboard powers this one. The crew at Excel Boats did a great on the design of this boat; it rides good, handles good, and runs great with a 150 on it. The 150 ProXS Mercury outboard has a great holeshot and puts the boat on plane quickly and easily. The motor is just coasting along at cruising speed, not in a bind at all, and fuel economy is great. This one is rigged with a Minnkota 80# thrust 24-volt Terrova I-Pilot trolling motor on the bow. In the dash is a Humminbird Helix 7 GPS and fishfinder. This Excel 220 Bay Pro has Teleflex Baystar Hydraulic Steering, along with a 3 bank onboard charger, to charge all the batteries in the boat, and interstate trolling motor and cranking batteries.
